Service Terms

Max Leak Detection provides water leak detection services across Greater Brisbane. Our core service is identifying and locating the source of hidden leaks. We do not perform plumbing repairs but refer clients to licensed plumbers where necessary.

No Leaks Found – No Charge (with Exceptions)

In most residential jobs, if no leak is found, you won’t be charged — this reflects our “No leaks found – No charge” policy. However, a fixed call-out fee may apply in the following cases:

• Commercial or industrial properties
• Large or complex residential properties requiring extensive inspection
• Situations where the property owner believes a leak exists (e.g., based on our checklist), but no actual leak is present after inspection

In such cases, fees will be clearly quoted and agreed upon before confirming the booking.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled booking will incur a call-out fee, except in extenuating circumstances. Please notify us as early as possible for any changes.

Photo and Report Use

During service, we may take photos or videos of suspected leak areas to assist in detection or communicate with plumbers. These may also be used for internal documentation or future marketing examples, only if anonymised and free of personal or sensitive information.

Access and Safety Requirements

Customers are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the property. If the area is unsafe or inaccessible, we reserve the right to reschedule or cancel, and a call-out fee may still apply.

Third-Party Communication

Where we coordinate with plumbers, property managers, or tenants, the customer is responsible for ensuring all parties are informed and aligned on access, scope, and timing. We are not liable for miscommunication between third parties not directly engaged by Max Leak Detection.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed. For invoices, payment is due within 7 days. Late payments may incur an administrative fee or delay in further service.
